The Tuolumne Me-Wuk Indian Health Center is proud to announce the purchase of a new building located at 905 Mono Way in Sonora, CA. The building will be administrative offices. The new two-story high building is 10,500 square feet and was built “green” with State-of-the-Art technology throughout. Gorgeous offices with the most modern furniture and equipment and an enormous local wood artwork design around the elevator. Lecia Scotford, CAO of TMWIHC, said, “This purchase has been a long time coming and shows the health board and the tribe’s commitment to this community.” The building was blessed by the tribe on September 26th, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and will be ready for its new occupants as of October 3rd.
