Thank you to all our staff, sponsors, guests, and vendors – you made our first Wellness Rocks event a success! Staff provided 72 patient visits Friday, October 12th at a special event for women only; visits included health exams, dental Q&A, acupuncture, workshops, information tables, snacks, crafts, and prizes for attendees.
The Center for a Non-Violent Community shared information about safe and healthy relationships, while Sarah Collie, MFT, gave a presentation entitled “Superwoman Complex”.
Special thanks to Tribal TANF, Be the Match, Center for a Non-Violent Community, TMWIHC Dental, Anita Martinez, and Colleen Britt for hosting tables providing resources, jewelry, and crafts.
Donations were received from Black Oak Casino Resort, Sysco Foods, the Tuolumne Me-Wuk Elder Program, and Kathleen Thompson.
